His aesthetic mindset become close to fundamentals of "Jack of Diamonds" the art group at the down of XX-th century, to the roots he directly inherits: Zverkhovsky is G.A. Savinov's learner, who was one of the best apprentices of A.A. Osmerkin, the follower and the colleague of I.I. Mashkov from the "Jack of Diamonds". His major interest in art is a painting as it is interactions of a form and color, creation of harmonious composition on the plane surface of the canvas. Zverkhovsky's works are displaying perfect form and style, they are beautiful in a modernist way, and distinctive soft smoky color, defines the unmistakably recognized style of the artist.
